W. T. Cooley was a pioneer, lawman, homesteader, delegate to the Oklahoma Statehood convention, and at age 97, the oldest veteran of the Cherokee Strip at the annual reunion in Enid, Oklahoma.  His oral history and life prompted the naming of this website.
